Muhammad Rashid

Muhammad Rashid is the Cofounder and Executive Director of Cureon, a healthcare innovation community focused on bringing healthcare professionals, researchers, engineers, students, and entrepreneurs together to identify real challenges in healthcare and turn them into opportunities for innovation. He is a Computer Science student at Drexel University with a background in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and community building.

Before Cureon, Muhammad has worked on a range of technical projects spanning AI, healthcare, and real world applications of technology. His work includes developing AI and machine learning systems, building full stack applications and backend systems, and creating a real time race walking wearable that uses custom force sensors and Bluetooth communication to detect rule violations. He has also been involved in building technology and startup communities in Philadelphia through The Foundry, organizing events, hackathons, and opportunities for students and builders to connect.

Through Cureon, Muhammad combines his technical background with his passion for entrepreneurship and community building. He works to develop partnerships, organize events, bring people from different fields into the same room, and create an environment where real healthcare problems can become the starting point for meaningful solutions. He is passionate about artificial intelligence, innovation, and building things that move beyond ideas into the real world.
