Hena Patel
CoFounder
Hena Patel is the cofounder of Cureon, an organization dedicated to supporting local technology entrepreneurs and startups as they solve real world problems in the healthcare sector. Hena brings a research driven, human centered technical background to this work: she holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Sciences from Temple University, graduating with Honors as a Dean's Global Scholar, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering. Her research includes a published study on shame and guilt in computing students' AI use and an upcoming submission to CHI comparing traditional and retrieval augmented GenAI tutorials in interdisciplinary learning, alongside applied accessibility work implementing APIs in AAC devices to support autistic individuals.
Through Cureon, Hena intends to apply her research rigor, technical depth, and commitment to human centered design to deliver unprecedented value to sponsors and grow the organization through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
